Monday May 19

We each have inner demons. Some people wrestle with alcoholism, some with drug addiction...my inner demon is articles. It started innocent enough, "oh I'll review something, it'll be neat!" ...Now I can't stop myself. There's another, just, go read it...Daddy needs his fix.

Thursday May 8

OMG!!1 HOW KOOL CA IT GET!!!11oneone

We got a new title bar and "Wicked awesome" slogan as well as have a few things in the works. If you haven't gathered by now, that's just a fancy way of saying "We have a couple articles that we might get around to writing."

The folks over at Wasteland 2042 have updated their site with a new weapon and vehicle model. It seems as though they are getting closer to releasing a player friendly version, though there is no official word on it yet.

Wednesday April 30

When Korosu said we have nothing new he was right--this article is more of the trite angry nonsense I've been writing since this site was on fucking angelfire. So go read it, because if you're here then you have nothing left to lose.

Tuesday April 29

Happy Holocaust Rememberance day. [Insert witty remark about World War II and Nazis]

Adult Swim on Cartoon Network is trying to piss me off. I've enjoyed Sealab 2021 since Adult Swim started and Aqua Teen Hunger Force soon after. They made one set of new episodes for each and then stopped. Same with Home Movies. I don't believe they can even make new episodes of Mission Hill and this all pisses me off royal like. Adult Swim is already on my "Lawns to Defecate On Today" list with shows like Inuyasha. And that show with the guy, he has that friend... Basically everything amime related. And by everything, I mean everything not Cowboy Bebop. I don't want to like... Write Adult Swim down on my list twice... Or like put a little two next to it.

Yeah, by the way. There's nothing new. So, piss off and/or die.

Wednesday April 16

I'm a roleplayer. I can play pen and paper roleplaying games for hours. But I'm not as bad as this guy from the con. So, when we were at Sakura Con we would walk down the halls frequently. In this one room was open play for 'Big Eyes, Small Mouth' the anime RPG. The guy that was running the game was in there for the entire convention... Every time we passed he was still in there. At LEAST 26 hours. I mean, I play a lot... This is when the sad nerds can start making fun of this guy.

Anyhow, the Gaijin has some new artwork up for people to gawk at and I put up a wallpaper for you guys to download and show off your SKD spirit. You know, like school, only cooler.

Tuesday April 15

...I fucking HATE dancing.

Wednesday April 9

Das con was like being punched in the testicles and then being repeatedly groped by strange foreign women--a mixture of pleasure and pain that left me with swollen balls. We took close to sixty pictures, so there will be plenty of hate and humor in the next few weeks. Meanwhile, I made some pictures and Korosu wrote an article. It only took him four fucking weeks.

Sunday March 16

Yeah, we lied about the whole updating once in a while thing.

The reasoning for the lack of updates is A: The site we were going through was updating their server so we were unable to update and B: We're saving up all our "mad writing skillz" for after we get back from Sakura Con... Or we just were too lazy to do anything... Or we we were busy with something that did NOT involve gasoline, dead hookers, and half a box of matches.

Starting on the 3rd of April we're going to Washington's anime convention, 'Sakura Con' to take pictures, look at cosplayers (I.E. Urinate on.), and see if we can find any cool shit to buy and/or look at. So, we're not likely to update until we get back.

Thursday February 20

Yeah, we're trying to actually update once in awhile. You know you love it. I wrote an article all about books...because they kick the figurative ass. Korosu was going to do something, but he showed me this link. So I beat him to death.

Sunday February 16

Lord help us, Korosu is speaking.

Alright, I've been hearing through the grapevine about a few live action versions of some of the more popular anime titles.

Not one. Not two... But three. Three of these bastards.

Akira and Dragonball Z are pretty much a for sure thing. Being produced for an estimated 2003/2004 release date (But don't hold your breath. I'm thinking 2004/2005). And there are also rumors of a Cowboy Bebop movie in the plans... Is it just me or does this seem like an idiotic idea? Retarded, in some circles.

Akira is the only one I can see being remotely close to its anime and manga kin. Jesus save us when the Dragon Ball Z movie comes out. It's undoubtedly going to be a mockery of the motion picture club. I mean, it's bad enough to hear lines like, "You are obviously more powerful than I. I must train and fight you at another time when I am much stronger from training and you are not. Ha! Ha!" coming from a cartoon (And yes you otaku fucks. CARTOON. It's a series of drawings that form movement. By definition it's a cartoon.) much less a live actor.

And I don't even want them to touch Cowboy Bebop... I will want to punch. Fuck, it's bad enough to see Cosplayers running around as Spike and the gang... Now I'll have to deal with cosplayers trying to act out the series. Fuck that. I can go to an anime convention and see the same thing. At least there I can beat the shit out of them afterwards.

Anyhow, I guess it's the cynic in me showing itself again. But name one good live action movie converted from comics. And if you say Daredevil I will punch you in the neck.

Saturday February 15

Been a while, eh?

The Gaijin has a new article up for all you fun loving kids out there. So, get your emo hating asses over there and read it.

Also, I've been keeping my eye on a particular mod for Battlefield 1942 as of late and they now have a site up for it. Go check it out and wait with bated breath as they taunt you with pictures of cleaver weilding justice machines.
