So, it looks like we are going to indulge in the exciting times that is Sakura Con. Once again to beat up cosplayers, pee on the Hilton, and lay in puddles of our own vomit.
Upon careful consideration we've decided to venture back. We decided making fun of cosplayers while making people dance for pennies was well worth it. So we're shelling out the $40 bucks for tickets and having another go at it. (It was a hard choice. Truth be told, last year sucked and left two people never wanting to come back again... Other than us).
Seeing as how we didn't tell you about last year's exercise in pain, we figured we'd tell you about it in the next few updates. So, check back in the next few days as we tell our stories of participating in an anime convention.

I'm sure everyone and their mother's heard of the new Samurai Shodown game coming out, so I won't bore you--particularly since there's something far better. River City Ransom: EX. YES. A remake of the classic with far more customization on the GBA. I so want that fucking thing it's retarded. While on the subject of games, the folks at Blizzard-who've led to such lovely phrases as "PKPK HUK FUK KEKEKE ^_^;;;" and "ZERG RUSH FAG"-have finally released a tabletop Warcraft RPG. It's based on the D20 system, which, according to Korosu, is "like eating your mother's used maxi pads." I told him that was disgusting and he just started yelling about tacos.

Okay, so 'later tonight' turned into 'a day or so' because I was having some trouble with the host for the site. But everything is fine and dandy now and I still have the pictures up as per the Gaijin's request.
The 2 year mark for the site has come and gone. It's not like we accomplished much... We finally got some regular content going like a month ago... All that in like a two year period. Jesus, in retrospect, we suck.
So, word 'round the campfire says that there's going to be a Ghost In the Shell 2. The addon to said story is that Disney are "co-producers" or some such shit like that. I used to hate Disney with a passion, but as of late I'm thinking otherwise. I've heard good things of Spirited Away, Mononoke was pretty b'dass, and how can you say you didn't like Pirates of the Caribbean? Eh, I guess we'll find out, though I don't know what they are going to base this one off of because they used everything story wise in the first.
Eh, I'm going to cut this short because I'm running out of shit to write and I want to play Diablo II. Fucking A' I hate that game.
By the way, Kill Bill looks like complete and utter unwiped ass.

Well, tomorrow is the site's 2 year birthday. I remember when we started this site, back over at Angelfire... Jesus, I fucking hated it back then. In celebration I'm going to eat an entire mini cake. It's all the fun of a real cake, but in a convinient smaller package.
Starting this coming Monday FLCL is going to be playing on the Cartoon Network Adult Swim block. This is great and everything, but now we're going to have to deal with mouth breathing otaku enjoying shit they shouldn't. I always figured FLCL would have stayed one of thoes word of mouth animes, the ones that you are like "Holy shit! How could I have lived without this?" when you happen to stumble over it, but now we have to deal with people who think that Trigun is "clever", "well written" and "not retarded" nerding it up and ruining all that is FLCL. As soon as I see an online shrine to Mamimi I'm murdering a hobo.

Got some art...of me. I call it: The Gaijin ver 3.0...the most badass of them all. I'll get to work on Korosu 3.0 later...so shut up. The most important news, however, is DAS FORUM. OMG. BADASS. You might've noticed the store's down...that's because cafepress fucking sucks. We'll put it back up when we find a decent place to make quality shirts.

We got a pretty decent update going here for you fine folks... Okay, not so much. But we have some big plans in the works. Namely regular content. Once a month we'll do a little something about an older game we've taken a liking to. Be it on Nintendo, Supernintendo, the PC... We don't care so long as we think it's mighty b'dass.

The Gaijin and I have both written up a couple things, his on Otaku and how much they suck, and mine a little review for the Movie Tokyo Fist... And don't e-mail me with the joke "IS IT PR0N?!?!?! ^_^" because my backyard is getting full and I have nowhere to bury the bodies.
So, everyone's favorite director and not so favorite actor Quentin Tarantino is on the move again making another film, this one entitled 'Kill Bill'. This one is said to have some pretty deep influemce by Asian Cinema (Seeing as how Kinji Fukasaku was one of Terantino's favorite directors, this doesn't surprise me).
Sonny Chiba (The Street Fighter) and Gordon Liu (Master Killer) are said to both star in this romp through Asian cinema.
